Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

The Entrepreneurship Journal for Finance and Business (EJFB) is committed to the highest standards of scientific integrity and publishing ethics. The journal adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure transparency and credibility in scientific research. The journal aims to promote fair publishing practices, protect researchers' rights, and maintain the quality of published research.

  1. Research Integrity and Prevention of Misconduct

The journal strictly prohibits all forms of research misconduct, including:

  • Plagiarism: Using ideas or works of others without proper attribution.
  • Data Fabrication or Falsification: Presenting false data or manipulating data in a way that alters research findings.
  • Citation Manipulation: Including unnecessary or irrelevant citations to artificially increase citation counts.
  • Simultaneous Submission: Submitting the same research to multiple journals simultaneously (duplicate submission).

If any violation is suspected, an investigation will be conducted following COPE procedures. The journal reserves the right to reject or retract a paper if ethical violations are confirmed, and relevant institutions may be notified if necessary.

  1. Authorship Criteria

All authors must meet the following criteria:

  • Have made a substantial contribution to the research or writing of the manuscript.
  • Approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
  • Avoid listing individuals who did not contribute significantly to the research ("honorary authorship").
  1. Peer Review Policy

The journal follows a Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure objectivity and impartiality, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

  • Reviewers are selected based on their scientific expertise and specialization.
  • Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality and must not use any information from the research for personal advantage.
  1. Copyright and Licensing Agreement
  • Authors retain the intellectual property rights of their research but grant the journal the right to first publication under the journal’s approved license.
  • Researchers must sign the Copyright Agreement to ensure compliance with the journal's policies and publishing ethics.

  • Reporting ethical violations by authors or reviewers.
  • Objecting to unfair editorial decisions.

  1. Conflict of Interest Policy

All authors, reviewers, and editorial board members must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that may influence the objectivity of the research or publishing decisions.

This policy ensures compliance with international standards of publication ethics and reinforces the journal’s commitment to academic integrity.
